The best things come in small packages
We live in an unassuming, sun-drenched little village called Burgstall. Here in the holiday region around Meran, on the sunny side of the Adige Valley, you could quite easily get sunburnt even in springtime.

The Graf-Volkmar-Weg is the perfect place to head out on a walk in the fresh air. If you like it steep, take the hiking trail to the Wieslerhof, where your efforts will be well-rewarded with a hearty South Tyrolean snack. All cyclists and golf lovers will be in their element too: This area is home to numerous golf courses and a variety of cycling routes. The Burgstall town centre is an excellent destination for a spot of shopping and a leisurely stroll.
If you are planning a real shopping tour, head to the neighbouring towns of Lana or Meran. A trip to the provincial capital of Bozen is, of course, absolutely a must!
